Precinct Chair

As precinct chair appointments are considered and voted on at Executive Committee Meetings, this gives any Democrat interested in serving as a precinct chair (if their precinct has a chair vacancy) an opportunity to contact us before the next Executive Committee Meeting. Check the Calendar for the next scheduled meeting. How does one become a precinct chair?

By running for precinct chair. To run, a Democrat must file an application to appear on the ballot in the Democratic Primary. Like any other office holder, precinct chairs run for office, sometimes have primary opponents, and once elected by the voters in their precinct, must file for re-election every two years.  Complete this form. Pct. form needs to filled out and notarized; with original turned in to Arthur Resa, County Chair. He will take forms and file them with County Clerk.
